In this review, tech reviewer ShortCircuit reviews the Asus Zenbook S13 (2023). I also collected 12 other reviews from tech reviewers around the web about the Asus Zenbook S13 (2023). Did you know they gave this laptop an average score of 8.2 out of 10.

ShortCircuit has a new video up on their YouTube channel, and it’s all about the Asus Zenbook S13 OLED. And while Asus was kind enough to sponsor the video, they didn’t actually send a device to ShortCircuit, so they had to make do with some bananas for their demonstration. Despite this, ShortCircuit was impressed with the device’s overall design, particularly the super cool finish that they achieved using a special process called Plasma Ceramic aluminum. It’s thin, measuring only 10.9 millimeters thick, but ShortCircuit was happy to report that the company didn’t skimp on IO, as it has full-sized Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and Thunderbolt 4 ports. And even with its thinness, the keyboard and trackpad are surprisingly usable. The keyboard has less actuation than the last generation, but it’s still satisfying to type on. The trackpad is also a decent size, with enough room for ShortCircuit’s hands to rest comfortably. The device also features an OLED screen that looks fantastic, thanks to its 2080 by 1800 resolution and Dolby Atmos sound system. And while it’s not meant for gaming, the device’s 13th-gen core I7-1355U processor and intel Iris Xe graphics allow for some casual gaming. Overall, ShortCircuit was impressed with the Asus Zenbook S13 OLED and recommends it to those who want a thin, lightweight device without sacrificing performance.
