Al the things you love about the previous version are there, and they even added a webcam this time around! The AMD processor is surprisingly fast, unfortunately, it’s slower than Intel’s high-end 12th gen processor, but they manage to create a more rounded CPU that features the best-integrated graphics by a mile according to Alex from Linus Tech Tips.

Though it needs to be said that there are some concerns about the thermals of this device. The heat is now directly on the screen as Dave Lee points out. So there’s a chance that the heat dissipation might be an issue under heavy load, though time will tell. Also, when reading reviews from Laptopmag and The Verge, it’s clear to see that they think that the G14 is a great laptop, but there are some other laptops that do its job a little bit better, the Alienware m15 Ryzen, Asus’s on G15 and Razer Blade 14 are mentioned as great, and cheaper alternatives with about the same performance.

So is the Zephyrus G14 worth it? Yes, I do think so, maybe not the full spec’d one, the one reviewers got, but the much cheaper 6700s version. It has all the bells and whistles as its more expensive brother, only the GPU (6700S) and RAM (max 24GB) are a tad less, but this shouldn’t be too big of a deal for most games.

For all others, I personally think the 6900HS with the 6700S and 16GB of RAM (so the cheaper one) will be just fine. I mean, this will still rock the AAA games with ease on pretty high settings. So you don’t have to worry about a bad gaming experience. One big downside for this one though, is that you can only upgrade your laptop to a maximum of 24GB of RAM. If this isn’t a downside for you, then you know which one you should consider!

So, who exactly should buy this amazing laptop? Well, if you’re a gamer (duh..), this laptop is literally built for games. If you want the best of the best, go with the top-of-the-line Zephyrus G14 2022. You won’t be disappointed by the gaming experience and performance this laptop will give you. Not the mention the compact size this laptop has while doing this.

Video editors could consider this amazing laptop who like to do some gaming on the side. I mean, this laptop really packs a punch and has a display you’ll like very much for your video editing (did I mention it has a 100% DCI-P3 coverage). If you like a clean design go with the moonlight white version. The cheapest model will get a prismatic film instead of led’s which in my opinion look sick.

Just know, I need to mention this again, the exhaust of the laptop is against the screen, this can give some issues over time.
